In 2020, the paths of Woodnotes and Nikari intertwined and they continued their journeys side by side by joining forces as separate brands and companies, merging some parts of organisations and operations. Now the Cable Factory showroom – the urban Helsinki seaside loft is carefully renovated and ready. Woodnotes' elegant products, together with unique art textiles by Ritva Puotila and Nikari's high quality wooden furniture create a harmonious, airy showroom by the sea. ..Vuonna 2020 Woodnotesin ja Nikarin polut löysivät toisensa ja matkaa jatkettiin rinnakkain: voimat yhdistettiin organisaatiota ja toimintoja osittain yhteen liittäen. Nyt Kaapelitehtaan uudistettu showroom-tila on valmiina. Meren äärellä sijaitsevassa valoisassa showroomissa Woodnotesin herkän hienostuneet sisustustekstiilit ja huonekalut sekä Ritva Puotilan materiaalin tuntua tuovat taidetekstiilit luovat harmonisen kokonaisuuden, jota maustavat Nikarin taidokkaasti valmistetut puukalusteet.
On the fifth floor of the old factory hall, the room height is impressive and the windows give light from two directions. Woodnotes' headquarters and showroom have been located here, at the Cable Factory since 1989. Completed in 1943, the rugged brick-clad building ceased to house its original functions decades ago, and today the place is an ever-evolving, vibrant hub of culture, art and design. ..Viidennessä kerroksessa, vanhassa tehdassalissa huonekorkeus on vaikuttava ja ikkunat aukeavat kahteen suuntaan. Woodnotesin pääkonttori ja showroom on sijainnut Kaapelitehtaalla vuodesta 1989. Vuonna 1943 valmistuneen jylhän tiiliverhoillun rakennuksen alkuperäistoiminnot lakkasivat vuosikymmeniä sitten ja tänä päivänä paikka on alati kehittyvä, elämää sykkivä kulttuurin, taiteen sekä muotoilun keskittymä.
Designer Ulla Koskinen is responsible for the interior design for the completely renovated showroom. The space, which evolves in peace and with time, presents new colors and products, old acquaintances combined in new ways and the peaceful beauty of natural materials. ..Kauttaaltaan remontoidun toimitilan sisustussuunnitelmasta on vastannut Ulla Koskinen. Rauhassa kehittyvässä ja ajan kanssa elävässä showroomissa esitellään uusia värejä ja tuotteita, vanhoja tuttuja yhdistettynä uudella tavalla, sekä luonnonmateriaalien tuomaa rauhaa ja kauneutta.
